Linda provides secretarial services to the pastor and church committees and organizations, and provides integral support to the mission of the church by providing a seamless flow of information to all parts of the church and congregation.  Linda is a good will ambassador to visitors and new church members and directs people to information and resources throughout the church.

Education:  Linda is a Woodridge High School graduate and a graduate of the Wilma Boyd Travel Career school in Pittsburgh PA.

Linda worked at Jensen Travel services in Shaker Heights as a corporate travel professional for 20 years.  With major changes in the travel industry taking place, Linda sought a new direction for her career and found it at UPC in 1998.

Linda brought with her a desire to be a helper and to do God’s work, which continues to the present.  Linda’s other interests and hobbies are gardening, reading and a love of animals.

Linda lives in Cuyahoga Falls with her husband of 26 years, Matt, 12 year old son Vinnie, 3 dogs, 1 cat and 1 bird. 

Linda, how would you describe UPC to someone who has never attended or who has been away for a while?  “We have lots of diversity.  You’ll be welcomed and accepted whether you prefer a traditional worship setting or a contemporary worship experience.  UPC is very mission-minded within UPC, the local community, and abroad.  We have strong Sunday School programs for youth and adults and great youth programs.”

Linda, what are your favorite programs or activities at UPC?  “The Pantry mission and the Soup lunch.  It targets close to home and helps the surrounding community.”

Linda, what is your favorite bible passage?  “Genesis 1:26.”
