New Beginnings
Our class
provides a relaxed, non-traditional setting that is
nurturing to all members. Our basis is God and Love as
the main focus as we all strive to re-establish our
spirituality on an individual basis within the group.
We offer a safe haven with acceptance of all, able to
be open with our feeling and our faith. We have
contributed to missions and plan to continue. We are
planning both a group dinner and social activities
such as Hale Farm and other events. |

The Neighborly Class
Our purpose is to study
for a deeper understanding of the Bible and how God's
living word speaks to us today. We are currently using
the Present Word curriculum which is published
quarterly by the Presbyterian Church (USA). We are a
sociable group. Each Sunday after church we meet for
dinner and then often enjoy a social activity
afterwards. The Neighborly Class is made up of mature
adults who support one another through prayer, action
and love.
|

The Seekers Class
discusses
a variety of topics including
current events, Bible studies and contemporary
Christian authors. Our class focuses on group
discussion more than lecture. All views are always
welcomed and encouraged. We socialize as a group doing
events such as Christmas progressive dinner, bowling,
pool parties and camcorder parties. We also do mission
projects such as inner church work, providing gifts at
Christmas for needy families, weekly cards to those in
need of support and providing meals to those after
surgery or when ill. |

The Adventurers Class
usually has
6-12 people who regularly attend. We are a mix of
couples and singles, typically baby boomer age and
under, though all ages are welcome. We create an
atmosphere where members are comfortable exploring
biblical principals, Christ's teachings and Good News
in relation to our personal life events. We
occasionally gather socially on a Friday or Saturday
for fellowship. We look forward to the new ideas, life
stories, and mutual support of all who join us. |

The Phoenix Class
We are
presently studying I Timothy. We share doughnuts and
coffee weekly for those who enjoy eating and
discussing. |

The Fellowship
Class
This class has mostly older adults who enjoy lecture
style Bible teachings. They are involved in soup lunch
and other missions. The Fellowship Class enjoys
getting together for social events. |
