Music ministry
Music cuts right to the soul and here at United Presbyterian we have a huge passion for worshiping our Lord and Savior through music. Whether you prefer a choir or a band we have the place for you to jump in with us and be a part of our great music program. Everyone is welcome. If you have a passion for music and the Lord, we have a place for you!
Adult Choir
Our Cathedral Choir is made up of adults with a passion for music and worshiping our lord in song. We rehearse on Thursday evenings and are a part of our 8:30 service each week.
Praise Band
Our praise band leads all music at our 11:00 contemporary service each week. We have instruments ranging from Electric guitar to keyboards to a full drum kit. We are always looking for new members of our team to lead worship with us. We are a completely volunteer band. All skill levels are welcome.
Hand Bells
The Handbell Ringers is comprised of adults and high school youth that have a passion for ringing bells. No previous experience in handbell ringing is necessary, but it is preferred you know how to read music. Rehearsals incorporate learning basic techniques in ringing and maintenance, along with preparing music for occasional use in worship.
Children's Music
From the mouths of babes. Our children's choir sings at worship a few times throughout the year and what a joy they are to hear. Practices are part of our Sunday school curriculum to make it easy for all kids to participate and share the joy of music.
